Viterbo, bordering Tuscany and just 80Km. from Monte Argentario and Rome, is in the center of Tuscia, the most important center of Italy close to places of great artistic, natural and historical interests as Tuscania, Orvieto, Bolsena, Montefiascone, Vico Lake, Lake Bracciano, Tarquinia and Civitavecchia : it is in the center of Tuscia, the most important part of the Center of Italy where it is possible to find the largest number of archaeological sites of the Etruscians, the people who began the history of this area.

In the center of Viterbo, the wonderful medieval area of San Pellegrino, which is beautiful to visit during all parts of the year, is particularly charming in the first week of May during the event “San Pellegrino in fiore,” in which San Pellegrino adorns its balconies, windowsills, steps, arches, and fountains with vibrant flowers and plants.

In the first week of September, for the festivals of the patron saint, Santa Rosa, the center of Viterbo becomes even more impressive; the city accepts around 60,000 visitors from every part of the world, attracted from the most intense moment of the festival. The evening of the 3rd of September; an “Obelisk of Light” with a height of around 30 meters, and a weight of 50 quintals, is transported throughout the streets of the historical center, held on the shoulders of a group of around 150 courageous men: the famous “Facchini di Santa Rosa.”

The city is important for having been the seat of many popes as well as, for its sulfuric water that offers the opportunity of thermal care to its guests.
We are in the ancient village of Viterbo, on the first floor of a “palace” of the 12th century near the pulsing heart of the city: “Piazza delle Erbe” and “Corso Italia”

Under the impressive wooden ceilings, we have two double rooms for the entire year, a large bathroom, and a dining room for breakfast. A 3rd room with the possibility of 2 beds is available from June to September.

Every room is provided with a television and internet connection.
